How Can We Help?
How does CBD work?
CBD interacts with the central nervous system, more specifically the “endocannabinoid system” in the brain. This system is responsible for receiving and responding to various signals from your body, including those that deal with pain, pressure, anxiety, and mood. The endocannabinoid system contains receptors throughout the body, so when the body is experiencing discomfort, the endocannabinoid system is activated. Your body naturally produces calming chemicals, however you may not be producing enough to truly put your body in a relaxing state. However, by using CBD endocannabinoid oil or plant-based pain alternatives, the body is better equipped to reduce its response to pain, and in turn, lessen the effects of inflammation and stress on the body.
What are the benefits of CBD?
The history of hemp can be traced back thousands of years. Just recently, the medical benefits of CBD have attracted the attention of the mainstream and the medical community. CBD has been used to treat rare, difficult to control forms of epilepsy. CBD is also used to help with other various conditions such as: pain, inflammation, ibs, migraines, anxiety, depression, seizures, nausea, psychosis, mental disorders, sleeping disorders, and more.
What’s the difference between CBD and THC?
CBD and THC are both found in the Cannabis plant. However, the main component that separates the two are that THC is psycho-active and CBD is non-psycho-active. In short, THC gives you the "high" sensation and CBD does not. All of Sunlight Organics products contain Zero THC.
Will CBD get me high?
There is a common misconception associated with CBD. CBD does not contain the psycho-active components that gives you the sensation of feeling "high". Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the psycho-active component of the cannabis plant which offers the "high" sensation. CBD supplies all the great health benefits that come from the cannabis plant, without the feeling of getting "high". All of Sunlight Organics products contain Zero THC.
Is CBD Legal?
Our hemp-derived oils are legal in all 50 states and follow the strict guidelines as set forth under the 2018 United States Farm Bill. We test all of our products to prove they contain zero THC content, so you will always get the best health benefits without ever worrying about failing a drug test. Update: The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 was signed into law, which will legalize hemp in all 50 states.
Is CBD safe to use?
The short answer is, yes! CBD works by stimulating special receptors in your brain to help lessen the stress and pain signals your body may be releasing. This means if you have chronic pain, high anxiety, or are struggling to manage stress, CBD oil can be used as a safe and all-natural way to calm the body and help it return to a relaxed state of homeostasis. CBD is so safe, in fact, that your body naturally produces chemicals very similar to it.

What is the proper dosing?
Please seek a professionals assistance. Our recommendations are based on personal experience, consumer feedback, and professional recommendation. We recommend starting with 15-20mg per serving of CBD and increasing at a slow rate if/when needed.
What's the difference between Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum?
Broad spectrum CBD is a bit of a mix between Full Spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate. Like Full Spectrum CBD, the other compounds found within the plant are preserved in the extract. However, like CBD Isolate, THC is completely removed. Because Broad Spectrum CBD contains multiple cannabinoids, it can deliver the enhanced benefits of the "entourage effect," without the risk of psychoactive effects of THC.
How should I store my CBD?
To ensure best shelf life, please store in a cool dark area and don't leave in direct sunlight or near heat. This will ensure that our formula doesn't lose any potency.
